The camp is an integral part of the MPYO programme and provides members an intense musical experience combined with fun social activities.

MPYO music camp engages musicians from the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and leading guest artists and educators to teach and conduct. Offerings include full and sectional rehearsals, chamber music ensembles, masterclasses, workshops and talks along with classes in music theory and history, composition, conducting and singing. Performances include solo and chamber recitals and each camp concludes with a concert for family and friends.

There will also time for relaxation, excursions and social activities. Members will get to meet people with similar interests and thus create a lasting network of musical partners and friends.

Each music camp will last anything from 7 to 21 days and located either at the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS or in Bangi at the PETRONAS training campus, PERMATA.
